How do Invisalign invisible braces work?

You will meet with Dr. Kayleigh Comfort Daly or Dr. Melissa Baleno for a consultation where you will both evaluate your teeth and talk about any problems or goals you have for your smile. If the doctor feels that you are a candidate for Invisalign, we will take a digital scan (instead of impressions), photos, and x-rays of your teeth so that Invisalign can manufacture your custom teeth aligners. A prescription will then be written for your custom aligners and sent to Invisalign . Prior to starting the Invisalign clear teeth aligners, you will meet with the doctor for a follow up appointment to review the full dental treatment plan including how many trays you will need, the projected duration of the treatment, and what the end result should look like. You will wear Invisalign aligners for around 22 hours a day.

What can Invisalign invisible braces do?

Invisalign can treat a wide variety of issues that keep people from achieving their ideal smiles. Straighter teeth don’t just look better; they work better too. Poorly-aligned teeth can interfere with bite function, wear out quicker, and are more prone to cavities. Call Elmwood Dental at (585) 461-4350 to ask how Invisalign can help you.
